PROFILE OF SANMI ABIODUN
At the Southern cluster of the Nigerian map lies Ekiti state,regarded as the “fountain of knowledge”. Ifaki-Ekiti, a small town in Ekiti state is home to Sanmi Abiodun, a young lad who realizes that he was not born with a silver spoon but believes he was born to see the silver lining around every cloud.
Sanmi is a graduating student of Nigerias premier university. He studied law after his preliminary education at the International School, Ibadan. He also has a Basic Operating Systems Certificate from NIIT as well as a Cambridge Advanced Level Certificate.
He has an ambition to take and transform the world using the gift of the garb. He enjoys acting, has a flair for writing and uses public speaking as his instrument for change. As a UI student, he held offices in both religious and secular organizations, the primary of which was that of the President of the Law Student Society (LSS). He is also currently the founding president of SPIN Africa Corporation.
During the course of his studentship, he engaged proactively in some corporate responsibilities and offices. He was a Customer Relations Officer with Skye Bank Plc, Ikeja, Lagos in 2007, a contract Marketting Officer with Aims Assetts Fund Managers& Stock Brokers, Ikoyi, Lagos in 2008, a correspondent with ESQ Legal Practice Magazine in 2009, an Assistant Editor with ESQ Legal Practice Magazine in 2010 and also, a consultant with Legal Blitz Legal Consulting firm in 2010.
In October 2009, Sanmi was referred to as one of Nigeria’s “fourteen best and brightest” as he was selected as a contestant on The Debaters Reality TV Show sponsored by Inspire Africa Foundation, GTBank, United States Information Service and British Council, and aired on DSTV across 14 countries.
To fan the flames of his writing skill, Sanmi writes regularly for ESQ Legal Practice Magazine and is also a contributor to several youth magazines, national dailies, journals and international publications.
